15-Year-Old Found This (Really Nice) Watch at a Flea Market
Marshall restores another vintage watch, this time it's a super nice Record Watch Company watch found by a 15-year-old watch enthusiast named Maximilian from Denmark!
The watch is kind of an anomaly in that it has a bunch of modern features but also has radium lume for the hands and dial. It's also not running correctly, that's where Marshall comes in!

I’ve always wanted to see a video where the stem was stuck in the movement and how you get the movement out! on another channel, I saw somebody with a stuck stem on a Rolex. The way Rolexes work made it tougher to get out the stem. But he did. I’m sure other watches, where you don’t have to rotate the movement before taking it out, you would have an easier time getting the movement out with a stem.

27:27 Question. electroplating could be a way to change the colors of the metal. I think that is the way they get the Rhodium plating on the brass. You could even gold and silver plate some parts maybe since the plate is done in very minute layering. Just a thought? Post Script... So you knew about electroplating and you did good for your first time. I really like the fact that you changed dials but keeping that old dial with the set to show the before and after of the watch. Plus you never know who or what caused the corrosion. Could have been war related Vietnam era stuff. I remember those watches even in the 80's.

thanks for the video, awesome work! on the beat running faster, i just wondering whether it was caused by magnetism, the watch been exposed to magnetic field around during transport, sale display at flee market or even close proximity to smartphone with speakers and magnet and all, just wondering if that can be the cause of it

I love antique Rosaries and my favorites are most always from France. The French at one time in the late 1800's were so far ahead for metal work and machinery. I really enjoyed this watch review. The Attention to the smallest detail is what I like about the old rosaries of French craftsmanship. The metal etching and finishes are almost impossibly done.
